East Campus is an alternative program with grades 10-12 located at Muscatine Community College.
The program has a design-based focus with emphasis on social innovation and cross-sector collaboration, locally and internationally. Aligning the Iowa Core, students apply their skills and content knowledge to find and implement solutions to societal problems. Therefore, education becomes a vehicle for social action.
We have a number of gracious collaborators who have been involved in reciprocal exchanges. They provide our students opportunities and our students in turn give back.
Currently, several East Campus students are enrolled in PSEO our dual enrollment classes. We want to ensure students know they have postsecondary options. In addition, we appreciate the opportunity to support them in the transition process from high school to college.
